NHS
In the midst of the COVID crisis, we launched a self-initiated project to promote social distancing and help people feel safer in workplaces and public spaces.
Many were anxious about leaving home due to the risk of catching the virus, particularly those with health issues or living with vulnerable individuals. To address this, we created a symbol anyone could wear to politely remind others to give them space.
The NHS fully backed the project, producing 130,000 badges and lanyards for staff and patients. We also partnered with charities like Marie Curie UK, Kidney Care UK, Lymphoma Action, and the RNIB to distribute badges to their members and the public.
The initiative gained widespread attention, with coverage from Huffington Post, Campaign, BBC and ITV News. Welsh Health Secretary Vaughan Gething even wore our badge during televised COVID briefings.
